Project Summary

SITE project stems from the idea that the territory to which the school belongs provides it with important educational, cultural and sporting opportunities that can contribute to the creation of an “open” school both towards the local and international level.
The partnership of the SITE project is made up of educational institutions that share the same aim,
with the primary purpose of making their training offer much more professional, through the opportunity for students to acquire improved technical skills. The basic idea is to identify innovative methodologies resulting from teacher training on active learning methods and then apply them during the project.
The students involved in the project are 15 and 16-year-olds enrolled in partner institutions who will contribute differently to the achievement of the project objectives during the mobility and through the e-Twinning platform. The 16-year-old students will undertake to carry out studies of the territories they belong to according to the subjects of their study plan (technical and measurable, tourism, histo
rical-literary, biological and artistic). The 15-year-old students, on the other hand, will carry out studies relating to the sporting activities that today and in the past have affected the stretch of river, lake or sea that insists on the territory belonging to the institutes that make up the partnership. At the end of the works, through the e-Twinning platform the students will be able to make a comparison between the studies carried out in each of the countries involved and outline the common aspects and differences in order to increase their sense of belonging to the European Union and awareness of the value of European cultural heritage, as well as improving their use of the English language.
