Project Summary

BUILDING ACTIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING STUDENTS Student assessment (PISA) results show that our pupils achieve the lowest level results in the “use” of critical thinking. Besides reading and writing, it is one of the fundamental competences which needs to be taught. We aim to improve the competences of pupils in the field of critical thinking and problem solving, skills strongly necessary for a more successful future. Objectives are:
-implement new strategies and increase means of preventing school dropout, bullying, promoting social inclusion and gain the knowledge necessary in a world full of challenges and changes.
-fight social exclusion, absence of basic skills and school leaving.
-encourage critical thinking and problem solving, allow teachers to cooperate for innovation (“PBL” “gamification” “debate”, “role playing” and more) and exchange of good practices -enrich classes with skills and knowledge necessary to create a democratic school environment and foster collaboration between educational sectors including disadvantaged learners.
