Project Summary

Dare to share: culture, tradition & more project is based on cultural heritage whose values are important for all European nations. That is why we need to find ways how to preserve it and to keep it for the future generations. Our students will learn a lot from their peers about their culture and customs and they will compare our culture with theirs through numbers of activities planned in this project. We would include younger and older students and they will use online platforms, internet tools and applications to collaborate first on eTwinning platform through interactive lessons and since personal interaction is crucial the students will have the chance to meet their peers, to monitor their projects for several days and to take an active part in many activities at schools abroad . They will work together in groups and learn more about cultural heritage of Serbia, Poland, Turkey and Spain. Their experience and active learning would help them understand similarities and differences among the cultures involved and foster their understanding of tolerance. They will use online tools, applications and educational platforms to explore and search about many aspects of cultural heritage of the countries involved. The students will have the chance to be part of an international group on site, and to collaborate through LTT activities linking online and real life experience and empowering their learning process. They will benefit through concrete experiences by observing, experimenting, looking, hearing, tasting and touching.
With this project we want to:
– strengthen students’ interests for the cultural heritage of their partners through research, cooperation with peers, experimentation, exploration and and sharing the results of their work. This objective is related to the main topic through motivating students to learn about other cultures and accept their differences, which will contribute to the cultural and sociological development of their personalities and lifelong learning.
– contribute to the production of digital material, presentations, e-book, brochures, catalogs and video materials.
The second objective – students will be empowered to use online tools and e-twinning portal to contribute to the realization of project ideas related to cultural heritage, and it is linked to the second topic ICT – new technologies – digital competences.
We have four partners involved in the project. Those are all public schools that provide general education (pre – primary and primary level):
OS Milan Blagojevic, Serbia
Szkola Podstawowa nr 1 Lobez, Poland
KARSIYAKA TURKBIRLIGI ILKOKULU, Turkey
Colegio Publico Ocejon, Spain
At the beginning of the project and at the end of the first year of the project, as well as at the beginning and at the end of the second year of the project the four coordinators and the principals from each school, will be involved in online meetings, where they will discuss about the project activities, they will prepare a set of common guidelines for all the partners, will monitor and evaluate the intermediate results and they will discuss about ways of dealing with any problems that may arise, in order to ensure an effective management and avoid possible crisis and conflicts. Five LTT activities will be organized during the 24 months of the project, as following:
C1 – in Serbia, October 2019.
C2- in Turkey, April, 2020.
C5 – in Turkey, April, 2020.
C3 – in Spain, October, 2020.
C4 – In Poland, April 2021.
All the other activities will be held online, on TwinSpace: students will create presentations, films, vote for the logo, post photos, make quizzes, a teacher from Serbia will create e-book and interactive lessons, etc.
All materials created during the project (e-book, videos, presentations, quizzes) will be available for free on the web sites of all 4 schools and we plan to use them further on and integrate them in the school curriculum. We will keep the project website operational even after the end of the project, for as long as possible. The materials created will be also available at each partner’s school library for anyone interested.
Participants will strengthen the interest in the cultural heritage of their own, as well as the interest in other countries cultural heritage. Getting to know the cultural heritage of all the participants in the project will increase the level of tolerance, as well as the mutual respect and esteem, intercultural communication and non-discrimination. The language competences will be developed through communicating in English, while participating in the job training classes, the teachers will develop both teaching and learning competences. Using web tools and making digital learning materials during the project, the participants will also improve their digital competences. The participation in the project will also influence the development of international cooperation and relations.
