Project Summary

The aim of this project is raising awareness how the modern eating habits have an impact on both our health, our environment as well as our economy. We want to make students aware of the impact the way our eating habits have and what it used to be and what it should be. How we can change our health, environment and economy by eating differently. Considering our students are professional sports students we find it extremely important that they know how to improve their health as well as reducing the risk och injuries through eating well.
The subject to be taken into consideration will involve teachers, coaches of various subjects in the schools and in particular languages, business studies, physical education, law, natural science.
Students, teachers and coaches will use the EU platform, eTwinning to keep in contact through mail, chat, forum, folders for common documents, pictures and videos, also using the calendar for events and the progress card.
Exchanges or visits will be proposed during the project over the period, allowing the maximum interchange among all the students involved. Teachers and coaches will meet regurlarly.
The final products, an app for training/eating well and a website, will give a picture of the way changing habits contribute to changes in health, the environment and the costs involved to the national and EU economy.
