The problem the project responds to concerns the needs of improve women’s competences. The needs analysis was used to investigate the problem, which allowed us to consider the phenomenon from different sides in order to understand and explain. The surveyed women showed the need to acquire and develop key competences and were one of the first to indicate the ability to learn. Some of the educationally passive women declare the will to develop further, indicating at the same time numerous barriers to learning such as: care for dependent people, conviction that it is too late for development, poor health, lack of adequate educational offer, stereotypical thinking narrowing the need to learn to the period of youth.
The problem is insufficient knowledge of educators in the field of motivating women to further education, advising, supporting women in discernment in their own talents and skills, building self-confidence and their future on appropriately planned skills improvement.
The needs of solving the problem are important from the point of view of the participating organizations and target groups.
The project is based on an analysis of the actual needs of participating organizations and target groups.
