Project Summary

The main objective of the project is to gain knowledge on adult education (unemployed) to extend and develop educators competences and develop high quality skills and competences.

Specific objectives:
– Improve knowledge, skills and competences of employees,
– Improving the quality of services provided to the unemployed and job seekers,
– Learning new methods of operation and services,
– Knowledge of methods used in adult education at the level of European standards and their adaptation to the local labour market,
– Raising the level of knowledge of a foreign language,
– organisation of international career counseling forum.

The direct participants of the project are employees of the partner organizations, working with unemployed persons in the area of career counseling. Indirect participants (ca. 1000 persons) are unemployed persons who struggle with lack of key competences and need new approach in the area of gaining key competeneces and career counseling.

As part of the project, we will organize 5 transnational project meetings during which exchange of good practices in the field of career counseling and gaining key competences will take place. To enhance exchange of good practices and dissimate results outside of partnership we will organise transnational career counseling forum.

Results of the project:
– Development of skills in working with unemployed people who are experiencing shortages in key competencies,
– To learn a new methods of counselling,
– Exchange of good practices in the area of counselling,
– Learn how to work with the unemployed in other countries,
– Improved language skills,
– Increase the quality of services,
– To strengthen relations between the partners and the opening of opportunities for further cooperation,
– To organise transnational career counselling forum.

The project will positively impact the quality of service offered by each of the partner, which may translate into better alignment of support to the expectations of the unemployed. It will certainly be positive that affected the perception of the partners as a credible institution that are able to accurately diagnose their clients and prepare them for the right offer professional activation. In addition, employees gain the knowledge on key competencies and ways of its transmission will contribute to lower operating costs.
Participants will obtain knowledge how to work professionally with the unemployed who are experiencing gaps in key competencies and are away of labour market, and how to turn them again in to it.
