Project Summary

Our project called “New Visions of Construction: Green Buildings” is about cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices.
Our aim with this project is to contribute to vocational education with international collaborations. The books and curricula that will emerge will provide textbooks that can be used jointly in EU countries. The textbooks and e-learning materials to be prepared will increase the proficiency of the students and teachers in our vocational and technical education schools. Since these resources will be prepared under the supervision of the representatives of the sector, they will also serve as a bridge in education and business. The results of the project will contribute to increase the quality of vocational training and to the creation of new business fields. Within the scope of the project, vocational teachers working in the field of construction and managers will increase their knowledge and competence about green building technology, and approximately 40,000 students studying in the field of construction technology will be informed about green building systems. The new textbooks to be created by the contribution made by the construction sector in the EU countries will be determined according to the needs of the industry, so that students will be able to join the business world before graduation.
One of the strongest points about our project is our institution and partners. The participants are really qualified and hardworking. We have made lots of online meetings during project preparation, and activities of the project are jointly determined.
