Project Summary

This project is aiming to connect context-oriented and method-oriented concept of the non-formal education on active participation, democracy and EU citizenship. In this project, we will study different concepts of the youth work, one being content-oriented (emphasis to learn the content through different cognitive and experiential methods mostly) and the other method-oriented (emphasis to learn content through the same artistic expression method mostly). We will make study of both approaches, trying to find theories behind both youth work concepts, write summaries and some descriptions to be used by other youth workers.We plan to organise two youth exchanges, using both approaches separately to be tested in the impact study. We also plan to find fusion of both approaches and publish methodology that is based on both concepts in the manual. We will write a part of text about this fusion in the manual and describe methods and even make video tutorial, which will be presented as link in the manual to learn these methods.We will also make a seminar at the end of the project and invite international partners as well as some additional Slovenian youth workers to join and learn the fusion of two youth work concepts. There are five partners in this project, coming from Germany, Zambia, Croatia and two from Slovenia. Project will happen in Slovenia, Germany and Zambia and will produce new methodology and study behind it.
