Project Summary
The project aims to promote the alliance between social organizations in the field of youth in 4 countries (Poland, Slovenia, Belgium, Spain) to enhance the exchange and implementation of innovative practices; utilizing as a framework the 17 SDGs of the European Agency 2030. The methodological learning of soft skills will be designed to enhance the organizations’ commitment to generating a sustainable world through the activities they perform in their entities to which they belong to and simultaneously carry out training related to the acquisition of soft skills.
The expected results as part of the project and once completed are:
• 8 participants from 4 organizations, make up the technical proposals of the project in the kick off meeting of the strategic planning
• 12 professionals from the environmental social and youth education field improve their training skills for the promotion and strengthening of soft skills in youth
• 80 young people from 4 European countries improve soft skills and learn to design and lead citizen participation initiatives linked to the sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda, through training and intervention programs led by the 12 trained youth technicians
• 100 people adhered to the educational, social, environmental and youth field and 16 people linked to the project participate in a European Forum on social and environmental impact through young people who have assimilated and incorporated soft skills into their work
• Dissemination of the developed actions and intellectual products elaborated through 4 web portals and their respective social networks
Other tangible results linked to products or multiplier events are:
INTELLECTUAL PRODUCTS:
– Methodological guide for the promotion and implementation of innovative methodologies in the training of soft skills and youth leadership of citizen initiatives linked to achieving the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda
– Audiovisual material that gathers the experience of the whole project and the application of the training programs in each participating country
– Diagnostic study of the soft skills present in initiatives led by youth and linked to the 2030 Agenda
MULTIPLIER EVENTS
– Each country will develop a multiplier event aimed at at least 20 people, linked to the field of non-formal, youth, social and environmental education, making known the experience as well as offering and sharing the intellectual products produced within the framework of the project.
The long-term benefits are predictable since the awareness of the 17 SDGs in combination with the acquisition of soft skills and their application in the working methodology of the technicians of the entities, will lead to improvements in the quality of the processes of the entity. Consequently, these improved methodologies will extend to the business culture and since these entities work in a network, it will expand to many others. Likewise, the beneficiaries will transmit this style of work and awareness of the 17 SDGs in their work and the social environment.
