Project Summary

SPICY is a KA2 project based on the exchange of good practices through a combination of actions aimed to support the development of young people from three European organizations, the final objective is that they could work with other young people in their community who are in a situation of social exclusion.

The project arises through a previous collaboration between these three organizations, the possibility of expanding and strengthening cooperation between them has arisen, especially for having a common mission and the need to expand their experience and exchange work methods related to the different aspects of youth education.

The main objective of the project is to develop the skills and abilities of the project participants in the use of non-formal education, starting with their respective communities and ending up in any of the EU countries. The methods applied during the program foster a creative approach using the performing arts and immersive theater as the main tool.

The project activities are divided into two levels: LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL, both in constant feedback. At the international level, three transnational meetings and three good practice exchange activities will be implemented in which participants will acquire creative tools to apply in their daily work and Exchange good practices to improve the quality of their daily work. These practices of exchange activities will involve a total of 18 direct participants (INCLUDING FACILITATORS). The participants come from the following countries: Spain, Bulgaria and Serbia.

The immediate result of the project is the creation of a group of 12 experts in the use of immersive theater in the field of education. Our goal is to empower them to become multipliers, using their newly acquired skills in their daily work if they have one or in their process of searching.

The methodology used for this project is based on the elements that belong to the field of non-formal education, creativity and immersive art applied to young people in educational contexts.

The direct impact of the project will be on the participants of the project and on the target group of their organizations. The long-term impact will be focused in their communities at the local level (also national and international level) and will be reflected in young people who are in a situation of social exclusion.
