Project Summary

OUT OF THE BOX project has been created by three small organizations ESTEKA from Poland, Greentin from Romania and Ecocompartimos from Spain as a continuation to a strategic project “TYPS – Training Youth to Pland Success” that they are implementing at present. Given the good functioning that TYPS is having, we see the need to give continuity with new activities and thus be able to attack other needs of the target group of young people.
The main goal of this project is to provide young people and youth workers with tools that allow them to discover their competences and exploit them to the fullest. We want to offer alternatives to the dependency we have on devices, social networks and the internet, an environment in which everyone is gradually getting involved and which is mastering all the skills that each individual possesses, mainly imagination and creativity .
At the end of this project we will have a personal development program composed by three trainings for young people from 13 to 16 years old belonging to rural areas.
The personal development program will be presented through a Kit consisting of a series of videos and a a good practices and tools package that will be very useful for small organizations in similar conditions to ours.
Three transnational meetings are planned for a good implementation of the project.
1. Kick-off meeting in Toledo – Spain
2. Intermediate evaluation in Baia Mare – Romania
3. Final evaluation in Tarnobrzeg Poland
The project is also composed by:
1. Three international trainings for 12 youth workers, 4 per country, one in Poland, one in Romania and another in Spain.
2. A Blanded mobility in Romania for 30 participants, 8 young people per country and 2 leaders per country.
3. Three national trainings per country for 25 young people each, between 13 and 16 years old, in total 225 young people.
4. An event to present the program created for other organizations and public in general where the media will attend.

The coordinator of the project will be the Ecocompartimos. Each organization will be in charge of monitoring its activities and expenses weekly. Through monthly Skype meetings, the project will be monitored internationally, taking into account quantitative and qualitative indicators. Each youth worker will be responsible for monitoring their local activities and transferring the results to their coordinator during the weekly meeting.
In addition, the project has a plan to prevent conflicts
The objective groups of this project are:
1. Youth workers from rural areas who are sometimes young people who are facing with NEETs conditions and who have started to collaborate with the organization because they decided so or because they came from another entity.
2. Young people between 13 and 16 years old who face demotivation and lack of interest in studies or professional development and risk ending up in NEETs group.
In addition to all this, the project is expected to provide:
– Better equipment and training for three small local NGOs.
– Improvement of the work network of these three organizations.
– Improvement of the language skills in different languages of the project partners by having to write the project in Spanish.
