Project Summary
A major project was started in Goldfish Waldorf Kindergarten and Elementary School in Paks–Dunakömlőd on the 1st of December 2017. As part of the project, the Hungarian institution, in cooperation with its Maribor (Slovenia) and Rijeka (Croatia) partners, organised continuing vocational training and education and partners’ meetings for teachers. The project called ‘NEW GLOBAL SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY FORMS IN EASTERN EUROPE IN THE PATHWAY OF ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION THROUGH COOPERATION, MOTIVATION AND INSPIRATION OF TEACHERS AND PARENTS’ was realised within the framework of the Erasmus program, and its aim was to present not only the methodological elements laid down but also the characteristics of the different countries which perfectly fit into the Waldorf methodology yet distinguish the given institution. During the project, the partner institutions (communities) could improve their teachers’ individual knowledge and skills, and in the course of their cooperation, they also had the opportunity to get closer to one another’s culture and particular mindset. Throughout the twenty months of the project, altogether six thematic trainings and three partners’ meetings took place at three venues.
The result of the cooperation is a publication for those interested and an educational video for teachers.

The project’s schedule and professional implementation were completed as planned. In addition to our teachers, parents and other professionals also benefited from the training opportunities provided by the project. The adaptation and transmission of the learned things is continuous.
We want to cherish the partnerships, and continue the anthroposophical workshops with the partners, complemented with Kurešček School.
We plan to continue our film project in the future as well. We would like to film and present more Waldorf festive. We want to join the Waldorf 100 International Movement and reach more people with the finished parts.
