Project Summary

Ensuring a high level of human health protection is a essential goal for all member states of UE. Article 35 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union affirms that “A high level of human health protection shall be ensured in the definition and implementation of all Union policies and activities.
For this reason we must increasing and ensure a better quality of long term health care service and assistance for vulnerable group in the community (elderly, disabled people etc).

Today in Europe we can compare a wide range of approaches to care service. We can find in fact different methods of Home caregiver and domiciliary care. Hence the member states wishing to experiment new way can tap into a vast wealth of knowledge, ideas and experience to realize it.

General Objective:

The project aims to improve the cooperation with similar organizations in all Europe and exchange best practices concerning home caregiver, domiciliary care in order to build up an international network which could hopefully facilitate fast exchange of information, rapid adapting to new trends and issues, and therefore better and more focused delivery of training programs.

Specific Objective:

To Promote the quality of care, safety and security of people living in long term care facilities in a manner and in an environment that maintains or enhances each resident’s dignity and respect in full recognition of his or her individuality.

Activities:
• Transnational meetings to exchange best practices about Home caregiver and domiciliary care;
• Organizing and conducting Local focus Groups and Debates;
• Creation of a Catalogue concerning best Methods, experience and idea about domiciliary care;
• Dissemination activities.
