Project Summary
This project’s main aim was to encourage the setting up of organic production enterprises and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in people. The idea was not only to motivate adults, but also to help them to understand the main reasons, present to them all aspects so that they realized the actual (economic, entrepreneurial, business) situation and the cause for this initiative. By bringing them closer to a sustainable model of production we also helped them to fully understand the expected results and outcomes from taking such a step. Our project took an elaborate approach and a previously well prepared strategy that was transmitted to all the participants and parties involved. Every phase of the project was based on active participation and engagement, with a tendency to empower adults in the organic production and the development of startup enterprises. We also approached another point in our project – maintaining of traditions. Starting with the idea of organic food production, it is unavoidable to see the connection between the home production and the preservation of food tradition that is of high importance when it comes to economic growth. Ours was a project that encouraged taking steps against unemployment, through offering different innovative tools, actions, ideas and suggestions on how, when, where, and why they should be done. It was an effective solution in the fight against unemployment, while at the same time a way or preserving the national heritage, as well as a great alternative for obtaining a good price on the labor market.
The implementation and management process were led by our organization as the applicant organization. Nevertheless, the participating countries also played a significant part in all the activities that were carried out. The implementation process lasted two years, during which time we performed different activities starting with a kick-off event, a Transnational meeting in our country in order to explain the methodology, strategies, main goals and objectives, and the overall summary of the project. Furthermore, we have produced two intellectual outputs regarding the results and dissemination process, which were presented and explained in detail at the Multiplier event in the 22nd month of the implementation period. The second intellectual output was based on the activities that were carried out on our Training Course right after the second Transnational meeting.
All the methodologies concerning management (finances, time management, activities, transport, accommodation and all logistics) were attended to by the project coordinator. Every administrative issue was debated in advance and it was in agreement with all parties involved in the same. The project was based on mutual cooperation and tolerance, as well as constant communication in order to maintain a dynamic and quality project.
