Project Summary

This project has been developed among the children in European Hospital schools and other schools connected with them according to the number of children with special needs that it welcomes. One of our main objectives has been to develop the IT competence in teachers and students. Through exchanges of informations and experiences our pupils have related to other pupils having different ways of living and been opened to different realities. Learning skills and developing key competences, the whole community, teachers and pupils have enlarged their knowledge of European reality.
The project has broaded our minds about lifestyle of other European hospitalized children and has driven them to support each other. It has motivated their interest for other language, and the discovery of other identities, developed curiosity and built a personal culture for each student.
Other of our aim has been to help in developing self sufficient European citizens. This has helped them to have good motivation to develop a creative spirit. Enhanced children’s self confidence in being able to use their knowledge of English language.
They have had the feeling that they are an active part of a global world. This positive attitude in front of life should have contributed to process of cure and empower our school in the hospital and also our other schools.
