Project Summary

The project aims were to build on the experience of youth workers and teams of five organizations from Bulgaria, Tanzania, Uganda, India and South Africa working with and for young people, improving their operational and management capacities. Within the project were modeled, tested and delivered training materials and curriculum specially designed to cover the necessary competencies of the non-governmental and self-governing organizations dedicated to solving problems in their community. The project made a transition from live training to the creation of a distance learning tool to the service for people who have no access to training providers or cannot afford it. Was develop and deliver a mobile application F.I.R.E. (From Idea to Reality & Execution) and a guide to using it, with free access via:-Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atom.fireapp -and iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1533780393?fbclid=IwAR2ENsPGEsDi23aBwz-Q2rJFjDGXQmvIEfJDSWu9kr_Ijs4rJh1tp26wo6E mobile phones, on a specially created page: www.studyathome.eu . At the same time, 12 young people from Africa, Asia and Europe participated in EVS, with specific activities for implementing the training content in a local context and supporting its language adaptation to the relevant cultural area (in the partner countries). Benefits of the project:- collected information on the specificities of self-governance and bottlenecks in the non-state and self-governing organizations in Africa and Asia;- provided a training program to develop managerial and operational capacities that meet the needs of social activists working inside and outside Europe;- The training program include 3 modules: Leadership, Project planning and Art of communication; – it is available in several languages: English, Bulgarian, Swahili and Hindi;- in the end of each module, the customes can test their knowleadge and to received a sertificate.
