Project Summary

Background
The partnership is formed by three vocational training institutions from three different countries Italy , Sweeden and Spain, and a Spanish representative of working life institution.
We all share high performing with studies and training of cookery, waiting, bakery/confectionery or butchery, as well as travel studies. All the schools have had a close relation with companies in the Hospitality and Travel sector.
The proposal of our project comes from a solid analysis of the participating institutions to identify needs of the target groups and organisations. Our cooperation starts from an existing know –how and practice of the partners to ensure the project aims

Main weaknesess found in diagnosis phase:
Average wages are low compared to other areas
International collaboration is limited to some families
Some students do not have access to high quality work experience
Insufficient development of information and learning technologies
More chefs needed by 2020
A chanllenge to teach migrants
Students have some kind of socioeconomic problems
Teachers need training around international educcation
Low level of communicative English
Vocational trainning institutions do not educate well in international training, english for businness, entrepreneurship and communicative skills
On the other hand we have also found the strengths needed within partners.
As a strategic partnership, we focus on supporting the development, transfer and implementation of innovative practices , peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level. Our outcomes will contribute to the main objectives presented by Europe 2020: Employment R&D Education Social Exclusion
The project necesarily has to carry out in an european context to achieve the weaknesses found and develop the social and working competences needed to work at an international enviroment
The participating organizations will be able to achieve results that would not be reached by organizations from a single country:synergys and matrix of every institution

Objectives
Developing basic and transversal skills using innovative methods. Improvement in terms of Learning Results in order to include them in the curricula
Improvement of the entrepreneurship capabilities among students
Enhancing digital integration in learning, teaching, training and youth work at various levels
Improve the internationalisation of the institutions
Promoting of social inclusion inniciative as a key professional competence
Colleges regard international collaboration as key to broadening minds of young people
Analyze and observe the major international trends outside our borders and help us to stablish future international networks and contacts

MainTarget groups: Vocational training students and teachers, employers and organisations in the hospitality area, actors needed to improve employability rates and social competencies development

Methodology will include cooperation and interchange of good practices. There will be four transnational meetings, as managment and dissemination activities. Mobility and trainning activities for students, teachers and responsibles will aime the acquisition of the competences needed. Every activity will be organised in the country where those strengths could be achieved. Employers and internship will be key elements in the process.
Outputs
Improvement of basic and transversal skills using innovate methodologies.
Improve methodologies, therefore improving the quality of teaching-learning process.
Define better adapted professional profiles and more adapted student’s capabilities to the labour market needs.
Increase opportunities of non traditional learners and people or at risk of social exclusion.
Raise the employability of the student once implemented the outcomes of the project
Impact
Raise awareness of the importance of developing basic and transversal skills using innovate methodologies.
Promote social consciousness regarding the underprivileged sector or at risk of social exclusion.
Awareness of the importance of working on Innovation to improve the learning-teaching process.
The important impact on the representatives of the Social board will be influencing policy and practice based on the main goals of our project
POTENTIAL LONGER TERMS
With a new methodology in all our vocational programs the Enterprise Sector will receive a highly qualified employees and socially concerned. Employment will be directly encouraged, supporting the implementation of reforms in line with 2020 Agenda. In the Employment will be fostered, supporting the implementation of reforms in line with 2020 Agenda.
Etwinning and other european platforms will be further use after project life as well as regular coordinating virtual meetings among partners.
