Project Summary
The main objective of this project is social inclusion of disadvantaged people, combined with the innovation of digital practices, by preparing social excluded people from emotional and technical point of view, to access accredited vocational trainings, which will open up opportunities for the available jobs on the labour market and inclusion to the different industries active at the local level. With this project we want to develop a holistic approach using vocational trainings as an entry point in breaking the poverty circle of vulnerable people.
The field covered by this project is Enhancing access to training and qualifications for all, with a particular attention to the low-skilled, through continuing VET, notably by increasing quality, supply and accessibility of continuing VET, validation of non-formal and informal learning, promoting workplace learning, providing for efficient and integrated guidance services and flexible and permeable learning pathways; includes developing partnerships between micro, small and medium
sized companies and VET providers aimed at promoting joint competences centres, learning networks, support to pooling of resources, and providing initial and/or continuing training to their staff. The project focuses on social inclusion and enhances digital integration of the persons at risk of social exclusion by promoting the use of social media and IT in general for the purpose of successful and more efficient integration into the labour market for the projects target groups. Its connection to BES and social media will generate digital integration by promoting the use of social media for learning and teaching purposes, building on prior learning processes and using these to develop a positive professional identity of the target groups for transition from education to the world of work. The project generates promotion of inclusion into VET training by promoting positive job identities for vulnerable target groups in order to step into the world of work and VET based learning.
In VICTORUPESI project we will analyse the needs of the target groups and create partnerships with local vocational centres and local companies, in the implementation phase of the first intellectual output, using the tools from the focus groups, to create the base of facilitating the path from social excluded person to an employed individual integrated in the local society. To achieve this during the project implementation we will develop learning tools to provide basic skills, like language, logics and mathematics, digital tools and social media tools to create an empowered identity for our TG1, alongside tools of diversity management and rights and obligations for employees. After this tools will be tested in 2 pilots during 8 months each, a holistic methodology will be created with an integrative approach with the help of the broad experience brought in by the partner organizations.
The target groups of this projects are: TG1 vulnerable people at risk of social exclusion including: migrant women, long term unemployed people, people in prison with light sentence, people with disabilities , women with asperger, women in the rural area. TG2 – The second target group will be professionals working in the field of social integration of the described beneficiaries. TG3 – The third target group would be vocational training centres, teachers and key role individuals in each country. TG4 – And the last target group is the local companies that will be available to offer a job opportunity to our beneficiaries.
