The Covid Pandemic – 19 has affected all our certainties and our habits. The most affected by the overturning of the habits of life are young people who have to face new changes and new challenges but who have before them the possibility of creating a new way of life with new values and ideals.
We need to spread and cement the foundations for a new ground that can give birth to a new “spring”, the spring of the European peoples.
Solidarity, humanity and a sense of community are feelings that give us the measure of how to overcome the growth of the Covid Pandemic – 19.
Great challenges await us, especially challenges that seek to revive the cultural sectors, perhaps among the most affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic.
My Icon Your Icon is a research, selection and dissemination project of the historical and artistic heritage of the countries involved through the reinterpretation of Sacred Icons in a contemporary key. It is a project aimed at enhancing the skills and competences of young artists, creatives, designers, celebrating them within the places of our culture.
My Icon Your Icon aims to activate the connections between young creatives, designers and artists and the European territory in a network of mutual exchanges.
