Project Summary

“CREATION OF A CHANCE (CoaCh)” is a Innovation Development Project, with a total duration of 19 months (January 2021-July 2022) and in which three organizations from three European countries (Bulgaria, Italy and Spain) participate.

The priorities of the project are:
Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship activities among young people
Promoting engaging, connecting and empowering young people
Social inclusion.

Regarding the FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES of the project, these are the following:
-To carry out an integrated learning of the most advanced techniques and tools of entrepreneurship.
-Specific training in the incidence of the Economy and Social Innovation in the Economy in general and in the development of social and democratic awareness within these organizations.
-Knowledge of the different opportunities and possibilities that the Social Economy offers to young entrepreneurs.
-Develop digital competence as an indispensable tool for entrepreneurship in a 4.0 environment.
-Improve our willingness to maintain a critical and constructive dialogue, to a positive interaction with other people.
-Develop our social commitment, applying our non-formal learning, and reverse it in actions aimed at the benefit of the community.
-Consolidate our skills as young entrepreneurs.
-Reverse our success as a promoter of social benefit.

The participants will be nine young people between 18 and 30 years old, and one coach per organization. All the participants present the common characteristic of entrepreneurial concerns and interest in the social economy.

A Transnational Meeting and a Training Activity have been planned:
June 2021: Training activity (Spain), “Effective and efficient entrepreneurship in Social Economy”. Five days in duration. The training activity is planned to train young people in basic and practical tools for entrepreneurs, as well as the characteristics and opportunities that the Social Economy offers them.
June 2022: Transnational meeting (Italy), “Validation of social entrepreneurship projects”. Five days in duration. In this transnational meeting, young people will present the progress made in their projects and milestones achieved. They will receive feedback from coaches and their colleagues, and proposals for future actions will be established.

Regarding the methodology applied in the project, it has an innovative and disruptive character far from the classic methods of entrepreneurship based on manuals, master classes and the writing of a business plan far from reality. “CREATION OF A CHANCE” seeks to exploit and develop the entrepreneurial and social concerns of young people, generating business ideas that imply a positive economic, social and labor impact on them and their environment, all by creating effective value propositions that drive them positively through non-formal learning processes, thanks to their successes and failures, through trial and error processes, establishing contact with potential customers and users, prospecting for key partners and allies , the exploitation that digital media offers to young entrepreneurs, etc. All of this by applying the analysis of the social economy as a tool for sustainable entrepreneurship in a transversal way.

A strong positive impact on young people is expected through all the knowledge, personal experiences and they will acquire during the project. They will present themselves as much more mature and prepared people, with greater professional skills and possibilities for self / employability, with greater initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, socially committed and respectful of the diversity and problems of others. At the same time, their social, critical, analytical, communicative and relational skills will be increased, generating important networking in the project. The permanence of all these qualitative changes in people is expected to be permanent. In the organizations involved, an improvement in their management and organization is foreseen, as well as greater training in pedagogical and entrepreneurial practices in the field of youth and social cooperation, in addition to the consolidation of a network of synergies with related entities and a greater visibility of your activities. Regarding the environment, given the development nature of social entrepreneurship, the expected impact includes a generation of economic activity and an improvement in social well-being around the StartUps born or generated from the project.

Finally, a Methodological Guide (O1) will be generated in several languages and freely accessible so that the learning systems, experiences and everything learned during the project are in the public domain.
