Project Summary

5 NGOs from 5 European countries: Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Italy, and Spain will be working together for 1 year to create an informal group of 1) youth workers and non-formal learning practitioners (from each promoter organization) 2) artists, art practitioners, and teachers (from several subjects and schools) and 3) young people with fewer opportunities to experiment and learn from each other how to complement FINE* ARTS with NFL and ICL techniques in an innovative way, to answer urgent social and educational needs and challenges, that are found relevant by promoter organizations, and by project participants during the project in this VUCA** times.
The project aims to create new tools, activities, and approaches that promoter organizations, other NGOs, art schools, and centers, youth workers, and artists can use, and incorporate as part of the activities they are carrying out professionally, both offline and online.
Promoter organizations will create a small and mixed international team of individuals who will collect a selection of tools and activities they will share with their peers (other NGOs and art schools) at the local, regional, national and European level, by organizing multiplier events and by creating the contents of an online platform.
Specific objectives:
-The project will present the concept and approach of FINE Learning, which stands for Focused, Inclusive, Nutrient, and Engaging learning using fine arts as the technique.
– It will collect and disseminate relevant practices on how creativity and cultural expression supports learning for all.
-Project will promote the European competence framework for lifelong learning using Fine Arts as a valid tool, means of expression, or technique.
Activities:
We suggest to organize 4 transnational activities and 3 local/regional/national activities on each of the cities where the promoter organizations are based if health measures allow them to take place; if not, the 19 project activities (4 plus 15=3X5) will take place online. 1st TNM: kick-off meeting (April 2021), International art workshop (June 2021), 2nd TNM: results meeting (October 2021), 3rd TNM: evaluation and follow-up meeting (February 2022).
The 3 local/national activities are: Group building and preparations (May 2021), local art workshops ( from July to September 2021), multiplier events and exhibits (from November to December 2021).
