Project Summary
The main objectif of our project is to build with and for the children, the tools that will help them while and/or after the sanitary, social and food crisis,… that are awaiting us. We are about to build a common book: The Wolf or the life in the woods (Resilience Handbook for children)
We’ll study the theme following 4 axis:
– axe 1 – Meet and greet our partners, discover where, how, in wich contexte they live and what is their present reality related to the wolf and build a collective identity (e-twinning => february 2021)
– axe 2 – What are the tales and legends (from each country) and what are they telling us about us, human beings – our emotions, our strengths, our weakness, our needs, … ? Sharing thoses tales and introspections with our partners. (mobility with children => june 2021).
– axe 3 – What is this animal, the wolf? Who is he, what does he eat, where does he live, how does he make babies, how does he protect himself from cold, heat, enemies, ….? What are the similarities / our differences between the wolf and the man? Share these observations and research results with our partners. (mobility with children => February 2022)
– axe 4 – How does the wolf live? How is it organized to meet the needs (eating, drinking, protecting yourself from the cold, etc.) of the individuals (young, old, fragile, sick, etc.)? What is its impact on the environment? And how could men become beings, who as a group, could meet the needs of each one regardless of their strengths / weaknesses while respecting environmental resources? Share these observations, proposals, research results with our partners (mobility with children => June 2022)
The objectif is that this book could be published and distributed so that each reader can do the same inner path that the children who wrote it:
– build a repository of children’s books
– from selected tales – all that one can discover about oneself through the reading of tales
– technical files on the wolf, the real animal, … as well as maps presenting its distribution in Europe – the facts of news in relation to the wolf in each country and how the local policies are managing the “problematic of the wolf ”
– illustrated boards relating the community life of wolves and action sheets of what humans could put in place to live a more united, more inclusive and autonomous society
