Project Summary
The project “Radio Theater: Tales of the Quarantine” seeks to provide youth workers and social educators with new tools that allow them to improve the skills of young people in terms of creativity, public speaking, teamwork, body expression, artistic expression, management of times, self-knowledge, new technologies and electronic resources. The initiative is part of the horizontal priority to which this special call responds, the development of skills and inclusion through creativity and the arts, since the use of radio-novels and the impact it generates in working with young people are the common thread of the project. It is a strategic association formed by 5 partners from 4 countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal and Romania) who are going to develop a 24-month project.
The main objective of this project is based on creating a strategic association to promote creative and artistic competences (body expression, self-knowledge, narrative, public speaking, theatrical) in the field of work with the youth population, especially with young people with fewer opportunities, in order to to develop, test and implement innovative methods through the use of radio and theater as a creative educational tool. These methods are intended to improve the competencies of youth by promoting their skills, abilities and values, favoring learning and key competences through the use of digital tools, especially important in the situation of social distancing that has caused Covid-19.
The specific objectives are:
O1. Create innovative practices in the field of youth through the development of a methodology based on theater and radio, with which to acquire key competences and artistic skills to generate creative responses focused on learning through digital tools.
O2. Increase the possibilities of transferring innovative methodologies and non-formal education among youth workers and educators, using an intellectual production that they can access to understand how to develop and enhance the development of skills and inclusion, in response to the new reality caused by the Covid-19 crisis, betting on digitization and the need for creative solutions.
O3. Favor the organizational development of 5 entities from 4 different countries, with diverse cultural and organizational experiences and strengthen their strategic association, developing and disseminating the intellectual product created in the field of youth education and creativity.
The expected results of the project will be the following:
1.- Intellectual result

In the same way, there will be young people who will benefit from the development of the project, as well as organizations and non-formal education providers that work with young people, both from the 4 countries involved and from third countries inside and outside the European Union.
