Project Summary

2 middle schools (one in France and one in Germany) and a school for disabled children in Germany have been working on the themes of integration and differences through different projects:
1) during the first two years, the children have created shows inspired by circus. These shows allowed them to work with other partners such as a school for disabled children in France and in Germany where these children joined the P.E classes all year round.
2) during the 3rd year, Students also created their own productions: films, videos about places they visited, recipes, funny scenes …

Our goals have been reached and our middle school is currently working on a new Erasmus project with a Portuguese middle school and the same German school.

Our first goal was to give the children the desire to travel through Europe and the world and help them realize it was possible.
Our second goal was to work on the integration of children with less opportunities while respecting the different school projetcs. The students who have been doing this project are now ambassadors for this cause.

The long-term benefits are as followed:
– a strong and long-term relationship with Germany.
– the Erasmus ambassadors (68 of them in all) will meet again in September 2019 and will have to present the project to the new pupils in our school (6th graders)
– create a bond between the new Erasmus students and the old ones.
