Project Summary
According to the EU reports and Pisa 2015 the low success level of Mathematics and Science still seems as a problem.
Why this Project was launched?
1. pupils lack of abilities to recognize scientific concepts which they have been studying in common various phenomenon
2. insufficient working materials based on scientific observations of phenomenon
3. modest marks (grades) on the evaluations items with interdisciplinary subject s (PISA )
4 overloaded pupils program regarding school preparation that can leads to failure
5)the low importance of projects and experiments in teaching and evaluation;
6)the lack of working instruments that allows a good understanding and integration of knowledge from different subjects;.
This project will show our students how mathematics and science will be used in the real life. So it will provide practical and enjoyable learning in mathematics and science in our country and other European countries. Our project has 6 partners. We bring together an experienced multidisciplinary group capable of ensuring the project success.
There are 6common schools in our project.. Participants will compare partner countries education system and share good practices.
Through the methods, new approaches and new learning materials and contents that this Project will provide us ,our students will be able to use their imagination ,problem solving skills.It wil also teach our students how to use theoretical information in practice while encouraging critical thinking and also instilling problem solving skills.
The aim of Project is sharing new concepts about curricula’s content and about educational system of teaching math, physics, chemistry, biology, language and communication in regions of attending schools.
This project aims to develop new ways for creating educational contexts that will help pupils to understand how science, mathematics, language and communications are used in daily activities regarding their life experience and their future working experience. The partnership was establish according to project goal. Schools teachers will learn one from another. These schools were selected to cover different areas of teaching techniques, to bring attending teachers in contact with a large variety methods and materials. Teachers involved have good teaching skills and will ensure a good quality to project products.
This project is based on five important actions:
1) “The latest techniques in trans and inter-curricular work”- training activity
2) “International team’s meeting to decide curricula changes and visibility materials”-technical meeting and pupils contest
3) “Scientific festival”- conference
4) “Tran-curricular Olympiad” – contest for pupils
5) “Learning non conventional”- conference for teachers and pupils
ACTIVITIES

PROJECT PRODUCTS:
1.Local and global learning events to promote trans and inter curricular teaching (festivals, conferences, contests, experimental studies)
2.New approaches in trans-curricular teaching (guides with new teaching experiences-book)
3.Project platform containing all products- project platform is an site where project products will be available for free for everybody. This platform will be available for 2 more years after project completion.
3.Conclusions regarding trans-curricular teaching (brochure). The brochure will present the situation about trans and inter curricular teaching in educational systems involved, new techniques and opportunities that the latest technology offers, strategies for trans and inter curricular teaching in general secondary schools, a list and a short description of events regarding this type of teaching, a study of positive effects on pupils knowledge in daily life experiences(field trips, internships), after project implementation, a comparative study with pupils that does not use this type of teaching, regarding final exams performances, versus pupils that uses trans and inter curricular teaching.
4.Project diary with pupils, parents, teachers and local community impressions. Project diary is a brochure that will encourage pupils and teachers to promote their experiences and to establish new bonds among project attendants. Project diary will have an layout like an illustrated magazine and contain project status, action that where and will be pursued and project impact.
