The aim of the project was the exchange of good practices related to the activities of the staff of the organizations participating in the project and the acquisition by young people participating in the project of knowledge in the field of the European labour market, entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship, employees’ rights and equality, as well as increasing the entrepreneurial awareness of the project participants and increasing their potential of leadership.
As part of the project, participants increased their social competences – they learned the art of good communication and assertiveness, time management, developed creativity, leadership skills and mastered the art of public speaking.
During the project meetings, 2 representatives of managing staff of the partner organizations and the coordinator were invited, and during the learning activities 5 participants plus an accompanying person from each country.
Blended mobility C1 was related to getting to know the european labor market. The classes concerned labor law, employment conditions in EU countries, workers’ rights in the EU, freedom of movement of workers in the EU, Community rights for entrepreneurs, international labor standards and equality on the labor market. The meeting was organized by a partner from Spain – the EGERIA association.
The C2 activity took place in Croatia, its organizer was the Enas association, which prepared a block of trainings in the field of personal development and business competences for the project participants. These were competences that will allow young people to develop interpersonal skills, increase faith in their own abilities, but also make it easier for them to navigate the labor market and in business. The classes were focused on active job search on the labor market, taking into account the regional / national specificity, managing oneself in time and in change, quick adaptation to changes, assertiveness and communication in business, taking into account intercultural differences and developing leadership skills.
Blended mobility C3 was related to the social economy, corporate social responsibility and the development of one’s own career path. The participants of the activity tried to develop a cross-border model of entrepreneurship and an idea for international business activity. The meeting was organized by the project coordinator – FCiM.
Blended mobility C4 took place in Italy. The organizer of EURO SUD provided the participants of the meeting with training in creativity and innovation, self-confidence, charisma and courage in business (emotional management, how to use one’s potential and be effective), as well as classes in self-presentation and public speaking.
The activities carried out as part of the project were interactive, based not only on the transfer of knowledge, but above all on exercises through role play, presentations, case studies and seminars. The classes included both group work and individual work. The trainers were people with not only knowledge and experience of the topics discussed, but also practitioners who use this knowledge in everyday life.
In addition to typical educational activities, the participants learned about the culture, art and history of the host countries, thanks to which it was possible to get closer to young people from partner countries, get to know each other different cultures, overcome many stereotypes and counteract nationalisms emerging in Europe. This will certainly facilitate future transnational cooperation and strengthening European ties.
In addition, as part of the project, a series of films promoting project activities – the idea of entrepreneurship, social economy and international youth cooperation were made.
All activities were surrounded by the information campaign of the coordinator and partners in local communities and at the central level.
