Project Summary
The “Cyberculture” project is a scholastic partnership that involves three countries, Italy, Spain and Portugal that together will enhance European cultural heritage. Comparing the partner countries will find differences and similarities in customs, traditions and betrayals. This is the main objective of the project, which will lead to the mobility of students and teachers who will acquire an awareness of cultural identity, a necessary element for understanding different cultures and the ability to see and shape the world with a sense of identity that respects the others, appreciating the value of their past and their heritage in a variety of cultures. Among the priorities that promote the growth of young people, there will be language learning and multilingualism, which will play an essential role in competences as languages open up many possibilities for all and remove obstacles to participation, education and European training. During the project period, the participants will improve their language skills in English and learn the basics of the languages of all partners. A second priority will be the strengthening of the teacher’s professional profile with the acquisition of certain knowledge and through didactic training activities: they will improve their language skills and learn the basics of partner languages, improve ICT skills (WEB 2.0 and 3.0 tools) , communication tools, cloud storage methods, web page design, eTwinning), they will learn the CLIL method, the narrative methods and methods of using video-photographic reconstruction, teaching and learning methods through the comparison with the educational systems of the countries partner. For the duration of the project there will be 4 training sessions for learning: a training event for the entire teaching staff and 3 which will include both training events for the entire staff and the short-term exchange of a group of students . There will be 2 teachers who will participate in every transnational mobility, as well as teachers from the training team of each individual institution. Regarding the short-term mobility of the students, there will be 6 students from each country who travel accompanied by 2 teachers from each school. There will be a total of 9 teachers and 18 students traveling. In addition to the team involved in the mobility, other students and teachers from each school will work on the project activities for the entire duration of the project. Basically, it will involve the entire educational institution of all partner countries, which means that more than 2,000 teachers and students together will participate in the Erasmus Plus project and benefit from it and in educational training. Teachers will develop their skills related to: ICT tools, eTwinning, WEB 2.0 and 3.0 tools, photography, video, interactive whiteboards, learning environment, CLIL, history of civilization, craftsmanship, museum education. All the topics mentioned will have examples and practical exercises related to culture and traditions with innovative 3D and Zspace technology. During the mobility, the students will work in transnational groups and document each other on famous musicians, artists, sportsmen, Oscar winners and Nobel laureates, illustrate traditional songs and translate them first into English as a vehicular language and then in the languages of the partners, will create a dictionary audio with basic words in all languages, they will visit the places of art realizing the activities there on site. All scheduled workshops will last at least 20 hours for the duration of the individual meetings. Furthermore, the pupils of each partner school will work on different activities related to cultural heritage: Let’s meat logbook, board, photography, video, world heritage sites, traditional clothes, games, tools, legends, special events. Furthermore, during the two years, quizzes, photographs and video clips will be made; presentations of the three countries and educational systems, world heritage sites, celebrities; brochures on traditional clothes, tools, games, legends, special events; traditional cookbooks; multilingual dictionary; collection of language games; collection of traditional songs illustrated by the country of each partner.
