Project Summary
An Anglo German project that adds value to vocational automotive training by embedding a European dimension in the the curriculum. Students from two colleges will work together to achieve the following outcomes;
1. A bilingual diagnostic manual for fault finding for use by Level 2 students
2. German/English Language training
3.English and German cultural activity
4.Sharing of best practice in pedagogical methodologies in Automotive
5.Value Added curriculum for students
6.Confidence building for students.
The project will bring together two vocational schools with similar ideologies to improve and enhance the training given to students and allow them to sample life and work in a different European country. It will improve their interpersonal skills as for many this will be the first time away from home without their parents.
The ideology of the project is to prepare the students involved to become European citizens with the confidence and skills to work across the EU and support the economy.
