Project Summary

112 : Can I help you ?

This project was initiated within the framework of the European Erasmus + program for a duration of 3 years. It brings together 5 partner colleges in France (coordinator), Romania (co-coordinator), Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic. The common language is English.

The project is based on number 112, the European emergency number. The aim is to promote the actions of first aid and to encourage as many people as possible to train in simple actions that can save lives while waiting for help to arrive. It is, in a way, the first link in a chain of rescue; 1st essential link because it conditions the action of professionals. Through this action, we want our young students to become committed and responsible European citizens.

We launched the project by releasing balloons in each country. With each of the mobilities proposed (one in each country), we discovered various specialties of rescue (rescue at sea, in mountain (summer / winter), avalanche rescue dogs, helicopter hoisting, extrication exercises, …) and we designed posters and made videos related to various distresses (choking, bleeding, cardiac arrest, burns, …) and learned first aid skills.

Each poster, designed for a traveling exhibition, presents you a vital distress and asks you what you would do when facing that situation and if you do not know what to do, we encourage you to think of taking a first aid training. So as not to leave you in the dark, you can using your phone, scan a QR code that sends you directly to the video that explains what to do; video shot and edited by the students, in English and subtitled in the 5 langages the partners countries.

Thus you can reinforce your sense of European belonging by becoming a committed and responsible citizen.

So do not hesitate, look at our videos and train yourself to help!
