Project Summary
A lot of schools are no longer compatible with the structures, that are needed to teach the key competences of the 21st century. Classrooms with different approaches concerning as well the furnishing, the setup, the materials and the contents to be conveyed are needed to meet the expectations of today. A more flexible curriculum will allow more support for individual modes and techniques, especially for pupils in higher demand for assistance.
Based on these considerations, this project has been set up to elaborate a new learning concept considering as well learning contents than learning surroundings. Necessary participants to create this new structures will be defined, in a first approach teachers, educators, pupils and parents. In a next phase more organisations (Youth house, cultural house, etc) will be contacted.
The concept will be tested by some previously chosen classes or groups, in the long term all classes in the whole school should be able to profit from the experiences (with adjustments if needed)
