Project Summary
Mission (im)possible is designed to develop relevant and high quality skills and competences to equip students with the knowledge, skills and transversal competences they will need to succeed in their future life and career.
Thanks to the project we intend to: improve students communication in mother tongue and in English, mathematical competence, IT skills, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, capacity to learn , cultural awareness and expression.
We – all the partners – know that key competences are considered essential skills and attitudes for young Europeans to succeed not only in today’s economy and modern society but also in their personal lives.
Realising all this and we decided to teach, develop, improve all these skills to help our students be successful in the future. The exchange of experiences and good practices, the learning activities, the workshops, the joint researches and studies, the educational visits and meetings as well as the actual students’ and teachers’ mobility will lead to increased participation in learning and a higher attainment level.
We, as the teachers, realise that promotion of acquisition of skills and competences is vital in the whole process of learning new things. As we could observe very often it’s difficult or impossible to do that in the classroom during the lesson. Therefore thanks to the project, its activities and mobilities , we want to create an environment (the new imaginary ideal planet where pupils arrive) to promote the acquired skills. The students will show their competency doing project’s tasks, sharing them, comparing, practising, discussing the results…They will use what they learnt without being limited by the lesson time or marks. We will recognize students achievements to encourage others to take part in the skills development. The participants of the project can experience the problems and dangers emerging in other countries. The students will have to communicate with each other, making compromises, learning making decisions in democratic way, they have to act using as many skills as possible. The common work done in several fields will strengthen the European way of thinking and social sensitiveness.
