The purpose of the project responds to the common needs of all participants and it aims to involve young people in the sustainable development of the local community by promoting the respect for the environment.
The horizontal priority of the project is related to the protection of the environment. The additional priorities are aimed at improving pupils’ access to training and qualification in the field of tourism and food industry and they also focus on developing key competences.
According to environmental reports,it has been observed that the communities of the partner schools face environmental problems, which is why we intend to develop the pupils’ skills on ecological education and sustainable development.

Among the expected results at the end of the project we mention: the project site,a Facebook page, an online research journal,a “Time Capsule” video with the reports made during the project implementation, promoting among pupils the European values and attitudes as well as a tolerant attitude towards the opinions of others.
The expected impact on the pupils is of personal development as active European citizens by increasing self-esteem, efficiency of teamwork and the improvement of civic education.
The expected impact at the local level is the increase of the degree of involvement by 25% of the members of the communities in activities of environmental protection for the sustainable development. At European level it is aimed to stimulate the interest for collaboration in order to find solutions to solve common environmental problems and to understand the importance of the environmental factors in the improvement of the quality of life.
