Project Summary
Context
The motivation of this work is teenagers’ addiction of social media can be leaded to use for productive, educative and perfect motivator for being a responsible citizens. By our project, we will turn down the situation by using youtube to produce usefull outcomes. We will use Youtube since it is very effective and popular channel between teenagers to disseminate things today.
The idea came up from the question: Why don’t we transform this addiction into a good source for education? So we decided to create this project by participation of five shools who were agree on working in this topic.
Objectives of your project;
O1. The project will decrease the addiction of social media and transform this addiction form bad use to good use.
O2. Participansts will take education on how to create a meaninfull video and how to broadcast it on Youtube.
O3. Students will take videos in subtopic: Easy Maths, Language and Science so they will study on these subtopics to create their produtcs
O4. Students will take videos about cultural Heritage, so they will search and realize thier own culture better and foreign cultures.
O5 Students will take videos about forgotten Outdoor games, so they will contact with their old generation and they will spend times outdoor
O6. Students will take individual videos about activism, so they will realize social life around them and they will take care aout the problem in their neigbourhood.
Number and profile of participants;
The project is aimed at the group of pupils at the age of 12-14 in each school. The students (240 students) are mainly the matter of our activities. 120 students will be chosen out of 240 in order to participate the exchanges to experience the European life first-hand. The other students will take the advantages of the activities locally, because they will have the chance of attending the activities and also workshop which will be presented by host partners. They will also join the project to contribute and get involved in the organization of activities which will be held in the school.They will accommodate the foreign students and introduce their school etc.
Description of activities; methodology to be used in carrying out the project;
To achieve the objectives of the project, we have planned realistic and effective activities. The activities will be practised under 3 action plan as preperation in local level, practises in international level during LTTAs, evaluation and dissemination in local and international level after LTTAs. This circle will be turn around times.
Before every LTTA, proect team which is consist of teachers, students, administrative staff and parents will work on the subtopic of the meeting in a good cooperation and prepare the outcomes and coplete the tasks. Main participants are the students so, they will do everything by leading of teachers.
We placed 5 LTTAs into the project plot. C1 is for Education of how to create a youtube video and how to broadcast it ; in C2 students will take videos in subtopic: Easy Maths, Language and Science; in C3 Students will take videos about cultural Heritage, in C4 students will take videos about forgotten Outdoor games: in C5 Students will take individual videos about activism. Before every LTTA, videos will be created and broadcasted, during the meeting whorkshop will be organised to take videos together, after the meeting disseminative activities will be done all by students.
All our project activities will lead our students to be a Youtoobers. They will learn how to shoot a video, how to edit and broadcast a video which include usefull topics and messages. They will work in teams, create international friendship, widen their understandings, correlate with theirpast cultures and forgotten outdoor games and carry their heritages from past to today, they will develop responsible citizenship by caring their social life problems with their activist videos.
Description of the results and impact

R2. Participants will learn how to take good videos (meaningfull and educative) with right tools and how to broadcast them on Youtube.

Potential longer term benefits.
One of the aims of the project is to awaken the spirit of participation in students, to ensure their involvement in social life and to support social development in the medium and long term. In this way, the project will lead to closer relations between the school and the local community and will be in contact with the NGO. Schools will be more effective in social life, local community.
