Project Summary

The project highlights the high youth unemployment rates in the partner countries and the push and pull factors in international workforce migration. As the European Commission is implementing the Europe 2020 Strategy, we have considered working on its ideas. As educational units, we can contribute to a sustainable and inclusive development of our students by enhancing their key competences, especially their entrepreneurial skills. Through our activities we would like our students to gain a better understanding of labour market and to build good links with local and international business.

Therefore, this project aims to meet the needs of students, young European citizens in secondary schools, by helping and supporting them meet right professional and personal choices. Students should be aware of their personal potential and get information from the economy and the European labour market.

The project focuses on the concept of sharing experience and good practice. Participants will benefit from the expertise of the professionals and associate partners of the beneficiaries. They are supposed to help students transfer information and apply them in a modern and dynamic school environment.
The project is based on the development of entrepreneurial skills for students, giving them opportunities to enter the labour market, institutions at local, regional and international levels.

The objectives of this project are:

1) enhancing key competences, especially entrepreneurship competence with the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes related to this competence
2) providing a sustainable and inclusive education
3) building good links with local and international business
4) establishing and running trainee companies
5) strengthening the profiles of teaching professions

The project has a duration of two years, with a TM for its assessment, as well as four teaching / learning / evaluation activities, short-term exchanges of pupils, and good practice examples provided by the Italian school (Good Practice Example 1: Relationship developed between the school and labour market in Italy) and the Croatian and Hungarian schools (Example 2: Creating Trainee Companies as Real Firms). These useful applications will be integrated into project activities, and in the second year, all partners are going to apply both examples of good practice.
