Project Summary

Context-Background
Because of the increasing problems with nationalites,intolerances,prejudices and conflicts throughout Europe, we would like to promote the European Spirit by breaking down the boundaries with cultures and diversity in cultures.We believe that the world needs emphaty to understand one another,in other words,the awareness and understanding of culture,cultural differences will help resolve conflicts and prevent future ones.B.B.C is a school exchange partnership which is planned to start 1st of September 2020 and lasts 24 months, and has partnership from Turkey, Slovakia, Spain and Italy which are located in a variety of areas including more rural parts to small town as well as medium and large cities with different languages,religions,moral values,customs and worldviews.
Objectives:
1-sharing cultural heritage at a European level in order to equip pupils with the necessary knowledge for a better integrate in a multicultural society
2-promoting intercultural dialogue in order to reduce pupils’ tendecy to be withdrawn,introverted,with aggressive and antisocial behaviours with prejudices and conflicts to other cultures
3-increasing positiveness and awareness about cultural diversity to cultivate cultural knowledge and freedom of thought by adopting the differences and similarities
4-Enhancing the social integration in order to develop presentation and ICT skills of pupils’ for self development
5-increasing the awareness of different language in order to develop foreign language skills
6-Developing pupils’ 21st century skills by using CLIL method with new lesson plans and cirriculums
7-Raising awareness about the term of Human Right and Democracy and European Citizenship in order to develop emphaty towards other cultures.
Participants:
Pupils- who are 14-17 aged and the children of migrants and socioeconomically disadvantaged families (96)and the pupils who are not only willing,successful and creative(for reward)but also introverted and reluctant(for motivation)(all pupils-approximately 1000)
-English,ICT,Music,Counselor,Social Sciences and Maths teachers.
-All management group members and E.L.T department will not be active participants taking part in mobilities,but still play an important role in the implementation of the project.
Activities:
Activities will start with the creation of website and choose logo for the project by pupils and all participants.
For ‘Wetalk’-Talking on some given cultural topics.
My words can be yours-the chance of learning the other languages’ basic love words and compare with theirs.
4C-will give students the chance of working together as a team both locally and transnationally(during mobilities)
Penpals-writing letter to each other to answer some questions about culture. This gives the opportunity to learn the others by developing the writing skills.
Gifts to you-sending gifts to each other and selling, donating the money any charity.Pupils will learn ‘sharing is caring’
Songs from us-sharing traditional or religional music with each other
Short Film Makers- My Photo Album-Creating their own product
KAHOOT games-for CLIL method.
ICT and E learnings-using website and etwinning,also creating social network accounts and youtube channel
Workshops about cultural tourism will be held in countries during the mobilities.
And also 4 LTT activities will be done,which aim developing global citizenship and contribute to the future of Europe, internship experience abroad for pupils’ future career,developing innovative and new pedagogies by approaching creatively through digital technologies for teachers.
The results are as an intangible ;self confidence and working as a team,improving ICT and English language skills through activities,and enriching the intercultural knowledge by getting familiar the others.
The tangible results are 4C,WEAREALL,Good Examples Brochure,COOKBOOK,CLIL METHOD CIRRICULUMS,Europass Certificates,Journals,The project Website,Youtube Channel,Erasmus+Corners,all recorded videos and photos on DVD
The main target group apart from pupils and teachers are families and cultural local authorities,NGOs,charity organizations,other schools.The project will also help create long lasting synergies with institutions and collabrating partners in the activities at local,regional and international level.We will carry on activities based on our project findings and will take part in new etwinning or another international project with more and new members.Also all results will be shared on national education site(EBA,ITACA,SEP).After the project is over,it will also be sponsored by other organizations.By dissemination, we want to raise awareness of importance to this project.We will give training seminars for teachers,students,educators around to give information about the project from beginning to the last.
We believe that world needs peace and this is only possible with emphaty,sympathy,and BREAKING THE BOUNDARIES! We hope this cooperation will continue in the future!
