Briefing of FAU educators (Germany)

This month the briefing of educators supporting iPEAR at FAU (Germany) took place. All educators are excited to try out AR in a lecture of their choice and they will develop ideas now which AR apps and platform would serve them most and how to include the experience in a lecture during one or two weeks. One AR experience will take place in the course of a virtual excursion in the field of Christian Archaeology, another will support art education with AR in the framework of UNESCO chair of cultural education at FAU. A third teacher will use AR in sport education, and a colleague from the chair of media education will try out AR in a course on media education that addresses mainly teacher students. Educators expressed their concern about the need of programming skill, but principal researcher Chrysoula Themelis reassured them that there are friendly to use tools that do not require programming skills.
