Project Summary
The primary school in which the foundations of the future are laid is the basis of the education and social life that the child will have in the future. Primary school education is more important for all children, especially for broken family children. In recent years, the number of broken family children in European countries and our country is increasing rapidly.
A fragmented family means; The family where one or both of the spouses do not exist for reasons such as death, migration, divorce, separate living. This family structure brings with it many troubles in education.
A child who is not adequately dealt with himself, whose physical, mental and psychological needs are not met, who is not encouraged to work and succeed, and who lacks appropriate behavioral models, is unable to meet with a good education process and school dropouts became.
In 2017, our project with the title of Broken Family Children in eTwinning .net for the resolution and sharing of these and similar problems continues successfully. Converting and presenting our project, where many EU countries are involved in their schools, is our common motto with our members in our project.
Especially, in recent years, we and our project partners, who have experienced these problems as schools, have broken family children at every class level. It has been observed that disadvantaged children are more aggressive, antisocial and have criminal behaviors in the classroom environment than other children. We planned working and training activities with our schools in 6(Turkey, Italy, Poland, Macedonia, Romania, Spain) different countries (also included in our eTwinning project) to solve these problems. Within the scope of the project, teachers from each school will come together to observe, study and research. They will share their knowledge and experiences with their foreign colleagues and develop solution-focused programs in order to direct students and take responsibility by participating in extracurricular activities.
Objectives;
1- Increase the attendance and course success of disadvantaged students
2- In disadvantaged students, social inclusion is supported to ensure social life harmony.
3- To reduce aggressive behaviors or inward turnover.
4- Reduction in discipline incidents and school dropouts.
5- Increasing the quality of education, developing institutional capacity and achieving strategic goals.
6- Increase participants’ competence in the project.
7- Understanding the importance of language diversity and culture with EU experience.
Participant groups will be made up of teachers, who are adopting the project position, hardworking, open to innovation. A project management team will be established and a task distribution will be made in each school to ensure successful execution of each stage of the project. The first transnational meeting in Turkey as we do, the efficient use of budgets, project management and implementation, we will discuss and disseminate outcomes.
Preparatory work will include meetings, video demonstrations, presentations, question-answer methods. In the streams, presentation, question-answer, video and picture visualization, in-situ review, course attendance, activity, note keeping, solution-focused
work, etc. In the case of dissemination, Partners will be in constant communication over the internet and perform all tasks; they will be responsible for ensuring that all participants are disseminated. We will invite local media, local administrators, families, neighboring schools, associations and other stakeholders to the project activities. We will also provide social networking sites such as www.parco.org, eTwinning, local and internet media, Face, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and present the results and activities of our project to all interested parties.
As a result;
We will compare the statistics of broken family children’s academic achievements, school abandonment, social adaptations by preparing reports until the beginning of the project. We will evaluate the project and prepare the final report.The teachers, who will show a solution-oriented approach to the broken family children, will try to strengthen the connection of the students with the class. We will try to remove the behavioral disruptions in our students, prepare them for the sake of life, and be socializing and collecting useful individuals in this way. . In terms of schools, transnational partnerships will improve quality, meet strategic goals, and meet European cultures.
In the long term ;
Research shows that children’s personalities are shaped by the period of elementary school, these children are family members at the same time, and we know that the family without society is an abstract and imaginary society. Societies whose family structure is diseased are more likely to face social disintegration. The greatest benefit in the long term is to contribute to the formation of healthy societies.
