Project Summary
The project ˝Building community with the power of human values – strengthening the cooperation of family and institution˝ will come true via cooperation of four church kindergartens: the project initiating Hungarian kindergarten, a Polish kindergarten, a Slovak kindergarten maintained by the Ursuline Order and our twinning school, a Romanian Catholic multi purpose institution.
The aim of the project
In the given project we will be using horizontal learning – the presentation and sharing of good practices. Coming to know and celebrating Hungarian related saints’ lives will be implemented at our partner institutions with the experiential education methods.
We would like to enhance openness towards the corporate Christian, human values (affection and responsibility towards the created world and wondering at its beauties, service shown up by good deeds) in the children entrusted to us.
Getting acquainted with the activities, methods will be done by sharing the project activities performed in the institutions during the project year and with the help of trainings, meetings at the institutions. We will assist the knowledge integration into everyday educational activities of educators by corporate testing of the experiential education methods.
The goal is the community development among the participating institutions. Experiencing the corporate Christian traditions, the collective activities, the workshops develop the teachers’ key competences, the acquired experiences will be integrated into the everyday work with children.
The project focuses on community building in the context of kindergarten teacher – child – family, and develops the creativity and activity of the participating educators.
The professional background of the partners
The strength of the partners in the present project is the creativity, the usage of experiential education methods and the openness towards new methods.
The project leader has ten-year experience in involving parents into the kindergartners’ activities. By applying methods affecting several sense organs, we enhance the emotional bonding of families with the institution, their commitment towards human values.
The partner institutions take pride in their excellent results in using drama pedagogical methods, the KETT method and applying the ˝Good shepherd – catechism˝ in the religious education. The strength of the Ursuline institutions lies in the international cooperation of orders. The institution in Nagyvárad has experience in Erasmus+ project.

The short-term effects of the project
Teachers will use the new methods. During foreign visits they will leave their comfort zone, and the motivation towards methodological reform will grow. The cultural transfer, cooperation and experiencing the community increases the need towards practicing the foreign language.
The long-term effects of the project
As a result of knowledge transfer, teachers will use the newly acquired ideas. Children will be more knowledgeable in religion, the parents’ commitment towards Christian values and the institution representing them will become stronger, thus the enrollment rate of the school will increase. The applied methods help children become creative personalities. The willingness of the institution to take part in more international project will increase.
