Project Summary
This is a KA2 project focused on the exchange of practices through a combination of approaches to support the development for youth workers from three (3) European organisations. The project is a result of previous collaboration and the desire is to expand and strength the cooperation. It is also a consequence of the needs assessment(s) of the partner organisations, all working on various aspects of youth work, and willing to extend their expertise learn from each other.
The main aim of the project is to develop youth workers’ competences in using education across EU countries using non-formal educational methods , in particular, with the group of young unemployed and NEETs. The methods applied during the programme foster a creative approach using arts as main tool.
The programme will involve a total of direct 18 participants (INCLUDED THE FACILITATORS) over three events. They will be always the same. They will then cascade in the local workshops involving 30 NEETs more in each country. Total 90 indirect beneficiaries. Participants come from the following countries: Spain, Croatia and Italy.
The immediate result of the project is the creation of a pool of 15 experts in creative approach to youth work. Our aim is to empower them to become multipliers, using their newly acquired competencies in their local work.
The project activities are divided in two levels: LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL, both in constant feedback. At the international level there will be three (3) meetings to exchange practices in which participants (youth workers from the partner organisations) will acquire creative tools to be applied in their daily work. At the same time they will exchange practices to improve quality of their work. At the local level, through permanent workshops these participants will apply the tools acquired by multiplying the impact of the results.
The methodology adopted for this project consists of elements belonging to the field of non-formal education, creativity and applied art by youth workers to social contexts.
The direct impact will be made on our participants and on their sending organisations. The long-term impact will be on local organisations and communities of our participants.
