Project Summary

The project included preparatory activities which informed the students about the project aim and the specific content they had yo deal with. Moreover, these activities promoted mutual knowledge of participants and of the involved schools. The team used etwinning platform to start their communication and work, though students used social media, in particular whatsapp, to keep in touch and get ready for the project activities. Staff online meetings helped the teachers to discuss and plan the activities and staff joint training events offered the teachers a good occasion to have on-field experience of each school peculiarity which was a good resource for the project itself. The Czech school focused on Sport and Solidarity and on Czech History and tradition. The Italian School focused on new forms of development, both economic and cultural, based on tradition, sustainability and environment protection. The Students’ mobilities, respectively in Prague and in Fasano, provided the students with direct experiences which put knowledge into practice and offered full immersion in the culture and lifestyle of the two countries involved in the partnership. The students used ICT tools to communicate and to produce materials, discussed the topics the project was based on, organized events and gave evidence of new skills such as decision making, problem solving and teamwork. The atmosphere of their work was relaxing and engaging. In Prague, the students prepared activities with music, dance and sport. A Charity event was held to support the School Distance Adoption Project. In Fasano, the students worked on the new challenges of local economy which needs support and new ideas of sustainable entrepreneurship and development on a global scale. Finally, the students planned a performance which gave them the opportunity to express their creativity through music, dance and singing. It was the final event which staged the joy of friendship beyond borders, the happiness of being together, the gratitude for this opportunity which will leave a everlasting memory in the heart of all the participants.
