Project Summary
„Each of us can have a positive impact in the world if we understand, experience, and share healthy, balanced, and sustainable ways of living.“
The aim of COOLIVING project was to share experiences and to promote healthy habits, explain the impor¬tance of daily physical activity, healthy eating, the importance of nutrition, food consumption, and production.
To promote diversity, intercultural dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance, and respect of human rights among the participants.
OBJECTIVES:
– Increase the capacity of partner organizations to address the healthcare education needs of young people in their communities;
– To improve quality of life by introducing communities to healthy eating, regular exercise with interactive and fun activities that will improve their analytical, decision-making, social and language skills;
– Share experience about local initiatives related to organic food consumption and it’s health benefits, as well as organic and biodynamic farming and air trade, including practical examples
– To uncover the participant’s true potentials, and to inspire them to take active roles as multipliers in their communities;
– To establish strong connections between the organizations and youth workers and between the youth workers,
– To promote diversity, intercultural dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance, and respect of human rights among the participants;
The partnership was established on already personal meetings and working experience together, as well as aiming to connect more and less experienced NGOs‘ to give them chance to learn from each other. Various associated partners will be involved on local levels.

Local activities for the local community – 12 local activities
The project activities were developed based on 4 main pillars:
1) Healthy Habits
To improve quality of life by introducing communities to healthy eating, regular exercise with interactive and fun activities that will improve their analytical, decision-making, social, and language skills.
2) Ecological Farming
Share experience about local initiatives related to organic food consumption and its health benefits, as well as organic and biodynamic farming and fair trade, including practical examples;
3) Collaboration
To establish strong connections between the organizations and youth workers and between the youth worker
4) Intercultural Dialogue
To promote diversity, intercultural dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance, and respect of human rights among the participants.
Target group:
Our main target groups were our and other NGOs in order to enhance our competencies in sustainable health. With the share of good practices, we can provide a better quality of work and activities.
Direct participants of blended mobilities were young people 16 – 30.
Local communities in each partner country was addressed with local activities.
The project results
1) Available and open platform on the project web page, where all partners can contribute with their news, experience, methodology, videos, useful links,…
2) Strong network of all partner organizations and associated stakeholders
3) All partners and participants have new theoretical and practical experience related to healthy eating, regular exercise with interactive and fun activities, as well as outdoor activities
4) All partners and participants have new theoretical and practical experience related to local initiatives with organic food consumption and it’s health benefits, as well as organic and biodynamic farming and fair trade
5) 2 mobility for young people were organized to support them to become multipliers in their communities
6) 12 local activities open for the public were organized
7) Future cooperation after the project completion was designed
