2. Number of participants:
Maskulińskie Forest District – 6 people
Forest School Complex – 2 people
River Mirna Basin Model Forest – 4 people
Provence Model Forest – 4 people
3. Profile of participants: Participants of the Maskulińskie Forest District project, 6 people, are a professional group of professionally active foresters, among whom there are representatives of the management, forestry specialists (forest breeding, forest education), accounting department employees and field workers (foresters) . Practical vocational training takes place on the territory of the Maskulińskie Forest Inspectorate, hence taking into account the specificity of formal and informal education, we care about the future staff of the State Forests acquiring and raising competence at an increasingly higher level. Project participants actively participate in the vocational training process of students of the Forestry School Complex in Ruciane – Nida.
The participants of the Forestry School Complex project, 2 people, are teachers who are responsible for practical vocational training. Raising their competences is an extremely important task, affecting the degree of knowledge later acquired by students of the Forestry School Complex, thanks to which the project objectives based on cooperation will be achieved, leading to the increase of competences in vocational education.
Participants of the River Mirna Basin Model Forest Project – 4 people, the Association deals with education for sustainable development, and specializes in forest pedagogy. Target groups Model sum “Sliv rijeke Mirne” are kindergartens, schools, teachers and specialists from forestry and natural resources institutions.
Participants of the Provence Model Forest Project, 4 people, represent activities for the idea of sustainable development in the field of sustainable forest management and ways to implement sustainable forest management policy.
4. Description of activities:
During the implementation of the task, thanks to cooperation with our partners, we will all gain knowledge in the field of the possibilities of supporting education in the spirit of sustainable development. Joint meetings as part of partner trips will allow us to take the right steps to promote sustainable, multifunctional forest management using the methods developed by our partners. The pillars of the project are cooperation and raising competences, which will be achieved through mutual familiarization with the activities of individual partners and the development of improved solutions in the field of knowledge transfer based on shared experience. Vocational training instructors will be able to use the experience gained in the performance of work in the field of their business thanks to the opportunity to learn about the other partners in person. The activities in question are 4 trips: two training visits of partners from Croatia and France in the Maskulińskie Forest District and one trip of Partners to France and Croatia, joint organization of a conference summarizing the project and publication of a script that will contain a compendium of knowledge from the field of jointly developed, based on the experience of strategic partners of the project.
5. Methodology used in the implementation of the project:
The methodology will mainly be based on the acquisition of practical knowledge complemented by theoretical knowledge. Training trips will give you a fuller opportunity to get acquainted with the real solutions. The knowledge that partners will transfer to each other will be supported by practical examples, hence there is a real need for trips to strategic partners.
Examples of transferring knowledge in the field of promoting the idea of sustainable development and care for the natural environment as part of multifunctional forest management:
-Forest orchard: together we will accomplish the task, giving students, society and our partners a chance to learn about the wide possibilities offered by the surrounding world of nature. In the immediate vicinity of the forest inspectorate there is an area where plant species of trees and shrubs naturally occurring in Polish forests will be planted. Fruits from the mentioned species will be available to anyone interested.
– based on the place created in the forest orchard, culinary workshops on the use of fruits from these species will be conducted
