Project Summary
The rapid development of technology and the importance of the individuals who produce the technology, and the training of a generation that produces technology can only be provided through education and training.
Children who are beginning to receive coding education at an early age, develops more in terms of mental development, problem solving skills, planning, establishing relationships between situations and generating new ideas. In order to develop pupils’ researching, inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and making decision skills and knowledge to be individuals who are lifelong learners, understanding, they need to be improved in term of Computational thinking skills. Because of the fact that teachers should guide and direct students and do more excersises which improve their computational process skills.
Consequently as Romania, Italy Turkey ,Serbia , Sweeden and Spain we organized this partnership to learn how coding, algorithmic and computational thinking, how to reveal and compare our education systems integrating our macro gains into our school curricula
In this way;
-To learn coding, which is accepted as future literacy.
– To develop entrepreneurial students who have acquired 21st century skills, can solve problems, can solve problems and apply them,
-To develop problem solving skills, creative thinking skills, math skills, high-level thinking, systematic and alternative thinking skills of children from early age,
To develop the ability of algorithmic thinking and algorithmic thinking, analytical thinking and problem solving,
– Increasing the creativity and looking at the problems from a different perspective,
– To teach how to divide the problems into small and manageable parts,
-To ensure that concepts such as cycle, condition and ranking are learned at an early age are much easier,
-To strengthen the concentration , -Erasmus + program, which is one of the special objectives of “” MULTIPLE LANGUAGE; at least two foreign language learning “will support the goal of our project.
-We aim to socialize disadvantaged students who are studying in our school with coding activities.
– Our teachers will have the opportunity to examine coding logic by increasing the knowledge of coding profession at EU level.
– Our colleagues are in a multilingual and cultured international environment and they will have the chance to receive education and they will benefit greatly from their digital capabilities.
-We also aim to meet new colleagues and find partners for the cooperation of our future projects.
Thanks to this project for our teacher ;
They will begin to use computational thinking approach in their lessons.
-Primitive thinking activities will be learned.
-Algorithmic thinking will be implemented with the cooperation of informatics teachers, students will develop problem solving skills in real life.
-We will gain awareness about the learning environments and the logic of the use of scripting / robotic tools.
-Students will have a different perspective on the working principles of information tools.
-Explain coding skills and digital capacities and professional careers.
-These teachers will improve their self-expression skills through dissemination, institution visits and meetings.
-The social success of the school will increase thanks to innovative educational environments.
– Participants will have the opportunity to update their methodologies on the use of cognitive thinking in the classroom.
-Experienced technology literacy, media literacy skills will develop digital citizenship coding skills.
– In the short term, “new methods that will increase interest in direct lessons and the approach of computational thinking will realize the internal resources within our students and in the long term will contribute to our Vision 2023 targets.”
-One of the priorities of Erasmus + which is improving the professional profile and quality will be realized
– During the project will have the opportunity to improve the ” MULTIPLE LANGUAGE, with a wide range of language to promote intercultural awareness and to improve the teaching and learning of languages’ will contribute to the goal.
With this project, which will last for 24 months, we are going to work with our partners around European countries to interact and collaborate on the use of Stem, Robotics Coding and Web2 tools. The number of our participants in the planned Learning teaching training activities is 180 and all 40 staff and 140 students in all our partner schools are actively involved in the project process and dissemination activities.
