Project Summary

New innovative educational methods are among the priority targets of Europe in order to provide to students more
methods and more opportunities to their self-development. Early school living is a problem which we can solve involving
students in activities that will motivate them, can contribute to a good development, discovering creativity and work with
creative and critical educational methods. In the Europe Strategy 2020, it has been planned to reduce the dropout rate to
10% from the current 15%. We aim to contribute to the achievement of this target and also to offer an appropriate
frame/learning environment in which children can achieve the skills needed in order to become accomplished adults
personally and professionally. We want to teach students to think and open their minds, and nurture unconventional
talents and skills. Creative, critical thinking pervades all aspects of our daily life-planning at home and planning at work,
as well as navigating leisure time and on the job – creative thinking is central to each person’s daily life and is an
essential life skill. Children should be prepared for life with strong skills and competencies to ensure their personal
development. They must be taught, supported to discover themselves and creative thinking methods are good
instruments in this regard. Children need to know what they want, they need to discover their strengths and qualities and
try to develop them. This project will help them communicate better, share their experiences, shape their personality in
the context of being part of an international community. Partnership and collaboration between the partner schools will be
developed through the activities that are included in the teaching and extracurricular activities. Within this project we want
to offer a range of activities that will involve as many students and community members as possible and also make these
curricular and extracurricular activities attractive and educational to different age groups. The project will contribute to the
self-development of our students using creative thinking. Outdoor education and sustainable development/. Students has
to be aware about the importance of the nature and environment for their own benefit, for the world benefit. Our door
education can motivate more and more pupils to become more responsible and to appreciate what we have. Methods
and approaches that will be mainly used include work with ICT, presentations, research, analysis, critical thinking,
creative thinking, and summary. All schools will be equally involved in the planning and the realization of the activities.
Students will be encouraged to become active members of their community and school, to learn about life in the partner
school’s community, to research and present how education and culture is being used as a positive force in different
places around Europe, all under the form of workshops, sessions, practical activities. Through this project our students
will have engaged in core studies to master critical and creative thinking, verbal and written communication,
computational confidence, a global awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively. They will have developed a critical
thinking character, they will have gained interpersonal skills such as teamwork, resolving conflict, and being an advocate.
The number of partners is 6. We have a partnership consisting of Ireland, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
During the project we will develop and we will organize short term join staff training events. Each partner school will be
responsible for the organization in their institution of such an event. These activities will be the best occasion to share
and exchange educational methods, culture, best practice examples. The project will have a great positive impact on the
whole educational process, as it will teach learners how to learn creatively and become creators of their own future. The
methods and strategies used will be based on the individual needs and abilities of the students. At the end of the project
they will be used to question things and actions and to act creatively about ideas and issues across a range of
disciplines. We expect our pupils to be happier, more active while learning and getting involved in the activities of the
project. They will realize the diversity in languages and cultures. Teachers will profit from the project in many ways. New
ideas, new methods of teaching, new experiences will widen all partners’ horizons. The main aim of European projects
and partnerships is involving young people in their education and training. We want our students to develop pro – active
attitudes in school life, but also in their social life, thus ensuring a continuously social progress.
