The project will be implemented by partners from Latvia, Germany, Norway and Lithuania. With the support of the Erasmus + program, the project will provide support to those involved in youth work, strengthen and maintain high-quality and sustainable cross-sectorial cooperation. There will be organized two transnational meetings, a study visit to Germany and two trainings, providing a basis for developing and raising the quality of youth work in Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Germany. It is important for effective cross-sectorial cooperation at municipal level that local authorities, politicians and NGOs are able to learn from each other, share perspectives on how they see local realities, and jointly develop tools to improve the quality of youth work at local level and serve as a resource for the EU level. Sharing expertise and developing competences at international level is important for improving the quality of youth work, so that innovative solutions can be implemented at local level. Project participants will have the opportunity to learn and develop their competences, improve existing cross-sectorial approaches to co-operation, share their good practices and, overall, improve the quality of youth work in their area. The project will enable partners to develop quality youth work and recognition of youth work.
