Project Summary

Cultural values shape the society and our way of life. For this reason, we should help our youngsters-the architect of our future- to establish a strong bond between the past and the future, to preserve the historical and cultural values. We should raise voluntary cultural ambassadors who know the cultural values of their country and have the necessary competence and entrepreneurship skills to promote them.
In the survey conducted in our school, it was determined that our students were unaware of the cultural values and they did not have the necessary motivation to learn them. Needs analysis was conducted and studies have started after the project team has come together. There is no EU project experience as a institution. We believe it will be a unique work.
Our project objectives:
-To raise conscious generations who know the value of their cultural and natural assets and have the responsibility to protect and keep these assets alive.
-To raise voluntary cultural ambassadors who know and promote their culture and traditions in all aspects.
-To increase students’ awareness of European cultural heritage and values
-Students will increase their desire for curiosity and research towards history and culture, and gain a sense of ownership and responsibility for cultural assets in their country.
Şuhut Anatolian High School will be the coordinator of the project. Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Macedonia are the partners in this project. Our project will start on 01.11.2020 and will take 24 months. The project envisages a strategy that will include student participation as well as key staff. Our student age range is 15-18 in our project. Our students who have economic, cultural and social difficulties will also take part in this project and will be supported by all kinds.
4-day activities are planned in each participating country. 5 students and 2 accompanying teachers from each country will attend. The participants will be hosted in the family houses of the host institution. Thus, there will be no accommodation expenses and the cultural interaction we expect from our students will come true. In each mobility, activities will be carried out on the main themes determined in accordance with our project goals. Conferences will be held by skype or eTwinning online before and after the mobility.
Project outputs:
