Project Summary

The Developing Inspired Youth, also known as D.I.Y. is an international youth initiative project realised in cooperation of a Polish and a Hungarian partner organisations based on the needs of young people aged between 13-20. The focus of the initiative is on entrepreneurship, conscious lifestyle and self-management. The strong cooperation comes from a common EVS project where the representative of the Polish partner spent 6 months in the Hungarian organisation as EVS volunteer. In the first part of the project we are using the products of a former international seminar: we are going to do the promotion of D.I.Y. workshops using theese equipements in highschool classes. The young people involved in the project are going to realise in both countries a study tour, a career choice program and special peer lessons about projectmanagement and self-management in local highschools. Based on the methods used during the workshops (10 occasion on both sides) will are creating a handout as a tool for helping youth workers and to achieve a multiplying effect.
