Project Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic has not only limited the way people can relate to each other and perform their most basic every-day-tasks, but has also had a significant impact on the regular delivery of education, training and youth policies. At such a critical time for our societies, access to education is proving, more than ever, to be essential to ensuring a swift recovery, while promoting equal opportunities among people of all backgrounds

One of the sectors hit the most by the pandemic were creative industries, to whom to help this proposal has been developed
The main directions we see creative industries need support:
• to be innovative in their creations
• to be leaders and initiators
• to be ready to face any new unexpected risks and societal challenges

One of the skills that will solve all the above mentioned challenges is Entrepreneurship, which is an absolute “must-have” skill in now days tech-dominated world. Proposal aims not only to give entrepreneurial skill to creators, but actually will focus more on Entrepreneurial MINDSET development. The project will try to change the way the target audience think and act developing their creations

The project will produce a modern asymmetric e-learning course on developing an Entrepreneurial Mind-Set. The course will focus on characteristics the individual should have in order to be a successful entrepreneur – Decisiveness, Goal setting, Time management, Confidence, Initiative, Accountability, Self Motivation, Resilience, Humility and ability to work in teams are part, but not all characteristics that the e-learning course modules will teach. The advantage of creative persons is that they all have some kind of creative skill that can be used in building own business, but to be successful, they need to have the right mind-set and the developed e-learning course modules will help

The OBJECTIVES of the project are:
* Development and implementation of innovative practices of teaching Entrepreneurship MIND-SET to creative persons
* Increase sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among people from creative industries

DIRECT target groups of the project:
* Persons, who are studying or working in creative industries
* Youth and students who are working in creative industries
* Representatives of education institutions that teach any of creative industries

INDIRECT target groups of the project are:
* Young people, as Entrepreneurial Mind-Set is not only valuable for persons in creative industries, it increases the quality of life of any person
* Society in general

Development of the E-learning course will be divided into 5 outputs:
* Module #1 – DECIVENESS – ability to take decisions quickly and confidently. One’s ability as a decision-maker will make or break it’s future successes or at the opposite end, ability not to take decisions usually failure of the intended business. Being decisive takes practice to master and it begins with small decisions in the business of daily life. Subsections will be developed on GOAL SETTING and PRIORITISATION OF TIME.
* Module #2 – CONFIDENCE – knowing how to act confidently when one actually do not know what should be done. The module will teach to pretend that one knows, what they are doing. There is a difference between looking confident and being confident: “Fake it, until You make it” – it’s not a secret that self-confidence is one of the most powerful characteristics of successful people. It is extremely important in any sphere, place, or circumstance. One should have confident gestures, voice, and behavior, which will have a crucial role on one’s way up to success. Subsections of the module will be for TAKING AN INITIATIVE and PERSUASION.
* Module #3 – ACCOUNTABILITY – taking responsibility for own actions and outcomes. Everything depends on one’s choices, not outside factors or powers. There are no EXCUSES, one can not blame others in its wrong choices. Subsection of this module will be for SELF-MOTIVATION
* Module #4 – RESILIENCE – quality of recovering quickly from failure and adversity. Resilience is about one’s ability to learn from its own mistakes and NOT TO BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES. Subsections of the module will be for TENACITY and FLEXIBILITY.
* Module #5 – HUMILITY – freedom from pride or arrogance and the quality or state of being humble. Along with humility comes coachability — the ability to be coached. If one wants to accomplish big things in life, one need to be willing to learn from others and nourish a growth mindset. Subsection of the Module will be topic on WORKING IN TEAMS

The whole e-learning course or each module will be developed with modern authoring tool (e.g. Adobe Captivate) which support development of Mobile Device Responsive Courses, they are covered with creative and catching templates (Fastercourse or similar) that are supported with several Learning Management Systems (e.g. Moodle, MOOC, html) and supports SCORM (tracks how the course is being assessed, answers to quizzes, etc).
