Project Summary

With this project we would like to give an answer to two issues that concern us:On the one hand, we think is important developing in our students attitudes of respect to the environment and they should learn important values for being responsible in the fight to preserve the natural heritage. Three words are important for us:To know: students must be informed based on an analysis of reality. The have to invest time to learn. This step is very important for the next stage. To love: students must involve affectively. It has to born a sense inside ourselves about the necessity to preserving the environment.To change: after change ourselves, is essential working all together for changing our town, our, families and our school. Before action we need sensitize others.On the other hand, we aim become our school in an ECOCENTER, an ecofriendly school. We will encourage the environmental education, we will recycle batteries, paper, containers, … and how to save electricity and water. We will do some activities for giving information, sensitizing and we will encourage for using bicycles in the city.Environmental policies are different in each country of Europe. Secondly, we will study these policies, we will compare them and will be important to share experiences for learning each other. For working this last idea, travelling for getting to know all the countries that will have joined to this project telling new and original ideas, working all together and developing or promoting new policies in our town, school and family.At the end, when this project will be finished we will have improved the relationship with the environment in general and the nearest environment particularly.
