Project Summary
The Erasmus+ project KA229 entitled “Dialogic Learning and Successful Educational Actions” involves four countries: France, Bulgary, Italy and Spain (as the coordinator school). Spanish will be the vehicular language since there are 3 schools under spanish bilingual programs.
After two years of profitable work in a previous project, where Succesful Educational Actions (SEA) were used, three of the partners decided to create another project in order to go in depth in the use of SEA as a way to develop social inclusion among the students. Aiming as expected results a succesful education for everyone, the development of inclusive attitudes in the students, the adquisition of new educational concepts by the participating faculty and the improvement of the linguistic competence on the side of the students.
Since it is an exchange project of good practices we rely on a school wich is already a learning community and has experiences in SEA. Three of the schools have already taken part in Erasmus+ projects and all of them are experineced in innovative activities related to school theatre and or radio. The Spanish school has got a recognised career in eTwinning.
The general CONTEXT is caractericed because their students are from different ethnic groups and social backgrounds. The challenge is working the improvement of social inclusion trough media literacy using innovative methodology. Departing from this context and using dialogic learning derived from the SEA we have set the following OBJECTIVES:
-To develop in the students an inclusive social awareness in order to improve their understanding of the world around them and to struggle against the “speech of hate”
-To use SEA such as interactive groups and dialogic social gatherings as the common method for working, promoting their use among the participating schools
-To improve the linguistic competence
ACTIVITIES will be mainly based on the implementation of interactive groups and dialogic social gatherings, during the exchanges, in the previous and subsequent activities in each meeting. These activities will be designed for students of Secondary School (aged 14-17). Each and every school will asume a topic related to inclusion: LGTBIQ, bullying, gender equality and poverty. Furthermore, each school will contribute with an innovative prespective in every meeting, related to school theatre and radio, wich will provide the project with a great versatility. Of the whole of 250 students and 30 teachers, we will establish an innovate method for working wich already relies on the contribution of the families. Besides, there will be 18 long term mobilities in 3 of the participating countries and some starting conferences for teaching and training.
The tools for working will be eTwinning and Twinspace as means for diffusion, coordinating and organising materials and of exchanging opinions.
EVALUATION: rubrics, questionaries, forum, “diana”, metacognition wich will be used to assess the development of the project and to make any required adjusment.
DIFFUSION of the project will be essential since it is through it that the project will get its highest level of visibility: school board, collegiate bodies, written and digital press, social network, European Parliament, Council of Europe, City Councils, Universities, TV, radios…will be aim of our diffusion.
SUSTAINABILITY of the project is one of our top objectives: if we achieve that the teachers make the use of SEA their own, keep on using them in their teaching practise and get to spread them among their colleguers, we would have reached the highest achievement we could aim.
